1.29.14- AHW

This is my AHW which I'm doing at school because why not. Whenever I don't do my AHW I get picked and when I do it I don't get picked, so I'm sure it's rigged. I was actually talking to Marc about that on the bus this morning. Speaking of, it's freezing outside but they're making us go to school cause if we miss another day then they have to add days in June, but if it's -17° outside then school shouldn't go on.

1.29.14- Year-Round School (Finished)

I think that year round school is not a good idea. It overall limits students and forces them to do something that is sometimes not the best course of action for a student's learning process.
First of all, summer gives the opportunity for children to grow and mature, which gives the a new outlook for the new school year. It gives them a chance for a fresh start. During the summer, you can start over and get all you bearings together. (Warrick-Harris, PE)
The more time that is spent in school gives students less time to earn money for college or even to maintain a steady job. They might be forced to work during the school year, therefore lowering their grades overall. Some schools saw steady declines since switching school calendars, and  had the lowest test scores among the six school districts that have used year-round calendar district wide for at least three years. (Anonymous, Statistics)
Finally, summer allows time for children with educational opportunities that they can't get in school such as a summer reading program, learning to swim, summer camp, or vacationing to faraway places. The summer is a great time to take off work and experience new things. (White, Reasons)
In conclusion, year-round school is limiting and sometimes too stressful for students.

1.21.14- AHW

This is me as a baby:
I'm just writing about this because Kylee and I were arguing about who's a cuter baby. I don't know why. Just cause Kylee sent me a picture of her as a baby but I won't post it.
She posted it on her blog:

http://krh1la.blogspot.com/

When I was a baby I didn't do pretty much everything I do now. For one, I didn't have to do homework. Cause I was a baby. That make sense.
This has run off into nowhere. Oh well. Bye bye then.

I wrote 2 signposts.

1.14.14- YNWA Version

My favorite version of "You'll Never Walk Alone":
I like this version of YNWA because it reminds me of Mrs. Roberts and her love for Liverpool. It's also a very good rendition of the song and it is very powerful. Overall, this is my favorite version because of how put together and nice the song is. (It's also the song for Liverpool fans.)

1.9.14- AHW

Right now I'm listening to a song. It's a happy song. Kind of happy-sad. Both. I'm doing my writing now because the song is five minutes so I can time myself and know how long I have left. I have like 4 minutes left because I had to think for maybe a minute how to word that last sentence. You don't know how long it took me to write this. It's could be an hour, a minute. But actually this only took five minutes. 😝
